Oil-Base and Water-Base Sizes
Using Size is a fast and easy way to gild when there’s no time to use the water-gilding method. Just apply the size using a soft brush and wait for it to tack. All sizes have different tack times and open tack times. Use a size with an appropriate tack time for your project (water-base Sizes will tack up quicker then oil-base Sizes).
